Inspiration towards Aspiration

This was second lecture handled by Mr. Bernard on 18 October 2012. Well, he is one of founders of FounderLab, a start-up accelerator for student entrepreneurs aged 18-30. The main problem is we are medical students, not linked to business and entrepreneurship. Well, at least we try the best, and not sell 'pisang goreng'.

What do you think about entrepreneurship? Most of us said ,'succeeded', money', 'job', 'risky' and 'bankrupt'. No answers are right or wrong. Mr. Bernard answered this question, it is a change. Well, it makes sense. He or she may change any 'slumdog' situation to the extraordinary success among the poor and unfortunate people. There is no impossible. What's a point about the medical entrepreneurs? How they suceeded?

           Look out to VisionSpring Fondation:

It is what we want to change the situation. A guy (a founder) made a try to train any people around India, Bangladesh and Latin American to become the young entrepreneurs, so that they were constantly selling products of eyeglasses among the poor people. So what the result? The poor people were becoming better as they work better by using the spectacles. At the same time, the entrepreneurs are more competitive and successful. HOW? That is their strategy to approach the customer. So, what are you waiting for, Malaysian?

           That's Situation 1. How about Situation 2?

Okey. That's crucial. A situation about 12 years-old girl. This is a problem, the entrepreneurs make a change among them for a better life from getting HIV infection. Could you imagine how different we live in the world if all people realise that. This is a chance for us to make a change. It is our aspiration we want, from any inspiration we get.

Inspiration towards Aspiration (not sure the grammar is right). So Malaysians, shall we start the entrepreneurship?
